Detour is a personal mapping product from Disco Media. It helps you turn travel research into an organized, private collection of places — ready to revisit when you are planning or already on the move.
How it works
You can ask a compatible AI assistant to research places and save the useful details to your Detour maps. Detour stores the map structure and the information you choose to keep. You can organize multiple maps, edit them, archive them, and permanently delete them.
The Detour iPhone companion gives signed-in users a read-only way to browse active maps, see saved places, and hand off directions to Google Maps. Detour does not calculate turn-by-turn routes or upload your device location.
What Detour is not
Detour is not a public social map, a booking service, an advertising network, or a replacement for local knowledge. It does not call Google Places to discover or enrich places. Your assistant supplies the research; Detour helps you keep it useful.
